Production firm expands Cardiff Bay headquarters
A COMPANY that helps produce TV programmes for Channel 4, S4C and the BBC has moved into new facilities.
Full-service post-production media company Gorilla has undertaken a major expansion of its Cardiff Bay headquarters, boosting its post-production facilities and adding a new multi-purpose television studio.
Gorilla has taken over an additional two floors at the Welsh Government-owned GloWorks creative industries hub in a facility-wide “expansion, consolidation and refresh” costing more than £1m.
The company, which provides services including editing, soundmixing and file management and delivery on a range of UK and Walesbased TV and media productions, has added 10 new editing suites, three new sound-dubbing suites, a dual green-screen/set TV studio and a live-to-air gallery.
The move to bring the new facilities to Cardiff Bay means that Gorilla now houses all its key services in one central location.
Gorilla’s managing director, Rich Moss, said: “We have moved all of our facilities to our main company headquarters, which means we can now service all of our productions from one central base.”
