-

AUDIENCES will get an opportunity to celebrate the work of Burt Bacharach while also supporting the work of Breast Cancer Now.

Back to Bacharach celebrates the magical music of the American superstar, who has become one of the most accomplished popular composers of the 20th century.

Together with his lyricist Hal David, the singer penned some of the most memorable and iconic songs that stand the test of time.

Visiting St David’s Hall in Cardiff on Saturday, January 20, the production has already been touring since September 2015 and features unforgettable tunes such as Alfie, Anyone Who Had a Heart, Arthur’s Theme, Close To You and What’s New, Pussycat?

The timeless classics will be performed by three of the finest West End singers, who will be accompanied on stage by a live 10-piece band.

Gig-goers will also be able to attend the show knowing that they have supported a worthy cause – Back to Bacharach has partnered with Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.

Breast Cancer Now supports worldclass breast cancer research across the UK and Ireland, and is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity.

A donation of £1 from each ticket sold will be given to the charity by the Back to Bacharach organisers, who are committed to raising a minimum of £10,000.

Breast Cancer Now’s ambition is that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live.

The charity supports nearly 450 of the world’s leading researchers at more than 20 locations across the UK and Ireland.

Together, they’re working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage.

Back to Bacharach is suitable for the whole family. Ticket prices start from £21.50 and can be purchased by calling the St David’s Hall box office on 029 2087 8444 or by visiting the venue’s website at wwww.stdavidshallcardiff.co.uk
