THE Cardiff Business Awards have been launched, with businesses in the city given the opportunity to gain recognition for their achievements over the past 12 months.

With overall sponsorship by NatWest, the Cardiff Business Awards 2018 are open to organisations that can demonstrate strong financial performance, innovation and exceptional customer experiences on a consistent basis.

Now in their fourth year, the Cardiff Business Awards take place at a dinner and ceremony at City Hall on Friday, June 15.

Liz Brookes, co-founder of the Cardiff Business Awards and managing director of Grapevine Event Management, commented: “The levels of success, ambition and achievement being shown by so many businesses in Cardiff continues to astound and cement the city’s place as a leading commercial centre for the UK.

“Cardiff plays a unique role within both the Welsh and wider UK economy. These awards, the biggest of their kind in Wales, offer the unique opportunity to not only celebrate the vibrancy of the business sector but to shout about this as being a great city in which to start, run and grow a successful company.”

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, co-founder of the awards and chair of the judging panel, said: “With the number of entrants for these awards seeing a significant growth each year, the appetite for businesses within the capital to showcase their accomplishments is clear to see.

“Each year the bar is raised even higher and the 2018 awards will be no different. With Cardiff greatly benefiting from a level of investment not seen before, this truly is an exciting time to be a business in the capital.
