A FORMER homeless man who went on to make an award-winning documentar­y about the issue will have his latest hard-hitting short film screened as part of a new TV series.

Cardiff-based filmmaker Martin Read found himself homeless on London’s streets – and then made an hour-long BBC documentar­y, Where Am I Sleeping Tonight, which won an industry award.

Now Martin, who studied at the University of South Wales, has made another gritty documentar­y for the It’s My Shout series of short films called Voices From Wales, which is being aired throughout this week on BBC2 Wales.
