Toy and train sale tomorrow

-

LLANGENNECH Community Centre off Hendre Road in Llangennech (just outside Llanelli) is hosting the next toy and train sale tomorrow between 10.30am and 3pm.

Llangennech is a highly popular venue, being easy to reach and well located just one mile from the M4 at junction 48; it has level and easy access and free car parking.

Llanelli is only a couple of miles away and boasts some excellent shopping facilities, plus hotels and other attractions.

The centre has its own excellent in-house cafe, noted for its great fare at very reasonable prices and it is operated by local volunteers – some say that it’s worth attending just to use this facility!

Organiser Chris Dyer said: “Llangennech attracts a wide range of traders from some distant parts of the UK as well as the more locally-based stall-holders.

“A wonderful array of stock is always available and from all the big names such as Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox, EFE, Tri-ang, Hornby, Lima, Wrenn, Bachmann etc.

“In the current economic climate, prices have never been keener and traders are keen to do business and value-formoney has never been better.

“They are also very happy to buy and to part-exchange, so do bring your surplus items along, even if only for a free valuation.”

Chris added: “Llangennech is one of our most compact fairs, but it has a great reputation and it is a highly popular and atmospheric show.

“Per square foot it is probably our bestattended event and we always fill every inch of space with traders.”
