Traffic jams a poor reflection on Wales
RETURNING to Wales on Friday evening I got stuck in a horrendous traffic jam for over an hour just after the Second Severn Crossing toll booths.
Five lines of traffic were going into one over a few miles, and there were no warnings on gantries, no information given on traffic announcements on the radio. If a warning had been put up I could have used the old Severn bridge and avoided a major problem.
Lots of people travelling to the rugby match got a long slow welcome to Wales, which must have created a long-lasting impression as to how things are done in the principality. Ted Lambert Pontypridd
