AN audio described performance of a Brontë classic is coming to a stage in Cardiff

Mostly programmed for plays, musicals, and pantomimes, it is rare to find an audio-described performance for ballet or dance – until now.

Stephan Stockton, of the New Theatre, said: “Patrons can expect a much more detailed description for Jane Eyre than is usual for a play.

“Because a ballet has no spoken dialogue, the describer needs to provide all the detail to convey the on-stage action alongside the music, performed live for us by Northern Ballet’s Sinfonia”. ■ For full details and to book tickets, please visit newtheatrecardiff.co.uk or call the box office on 029 2087 8889.
