Doyouthinkhesaurus heading for city park

-

AN international dinosaur festival is coming to Cardiff as Bute Park is turned into a prehistoric world this summer.

Jurassic Kingdom: Where Dinosaurs Come To Life is an interactive, life-size replica experience.

Visitors will come face to face with a 26m-long Diplodocus and the notorious Tyrannosaurus Rex, while learning about every predator from over 200 million years ago. There will even be some in the trees.

There will be more than 30 dinosaurs in the park from Saturday, August 11, until Monday, August 27.

Visitors will find the dinosaurs hiding all around the park. The creatures will come to life, with their tails, eyes, heads and forelegs moving, and raging roars.

Naz Kabir, event director at Weli Creative, the company behind Jurassic Kingdom, said: “We are extremely excited to bring our tour to Cardiff for the first time this August.

“Being the first outdoor, touring, animatronic dinosaur experience of its kind to hit the UK, having Cardiff as one of our five stops and being at the end of the summer is the perfect chance for children to experience this exciting and educational tour.”

Prices start from £11.50 for adults, £10.50 concessions, £9.50 for children, and £38 for a family ticket. Children under two go free.

Early-bird tickets with a 20% discount can be bought during June and July at www.jurassickingdom.uk if you quote EARLYBIRD at the checkout
