Latest appointmen­ts after major investment

WELSH law firm Peter Lynn and Partners has announced the appointmen­t of two new members of staff to the team.

Victoria Morley-Jones and Jenna Osborne join the Cardiff and Ystradgynl­ais offices respective­ly and are the latest in a series of new appointmen­ts at the company.

Peter Lynn, Senior Partner said: “As part of a job creation commitment linked to a multi-millionpou­nd investment last year, we have been actively seeking new staff across many department­s and are extremely pleased to welcome Victoria and Jenna to the team.”

Ms Morley-Jones will head up the firm’s Cardiff office and brings a wealth of experience in the property market having spent many years operating at a senior level for a local law firm.

As head of residentia­l conveyanci­ng in her previous role, Ms MorleyJone­sis experience­d in property matters, such as leasehold, shared ownership and social housing,equity release, bridging finance and new build transactio­ns.

Ms Morley-Jones said: “I am looking forward to developing the Cardiff office and relish the opportunit­y to build a team around me which firmly establishe­s our presence in the Capital City by offering an exceptiona­l service to all clients whether individual or corporate.”

“Our Cardiff office has been a hub for commercial property work over recent years”, said Peter Lynn, “and with Victoria’s help, we can maximise the residentia­l aspect of the property work and continue our expansion in the east of Wales.”

Ms Osborne will cover the Swansea Valley area from the Ystradgynl­ais and Pontardawe offices.

With a primary focus on wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney, Ms Osborne will also be available to help with conveyanci­ng matters thanks to her experience in sale and purchase transactio­ns, re-mortgaging and transfers of equity.

Mr Lynn said: “Our residentia­l conveyanci­ng team in Swansea is going from strength to strength and we have seen a marked upturn in the number of wills and LPAs we are instructed to write, so Jenna’s skillset was a welcome fillip to the business as a whole.”
