Social media cooking star, known to many as Chris Foodgasm Roberts, is celebrated for his smoke and flames cooking style and his fondness for the great Welsh outdoors. This year Chris will take on the role of resident King of the Flames at Hybu Cig Cymru

WHILE showing off his grilling prowess, Chris will also be highlighting how to make the most of PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef for summer barbeques with his innovative cooking style and his appreciation and understanding of how to cook meat.

As a committed ‘Lambassador’ Chris is sure to raise the stakes and offer unrivalled BBQ brilliance and meaty motivation to all Royal Welsh Show visitors, perfect for upcoming barbeques and alfresco dining.

Meanwhile, Cardiff local and former Masterchef star Imran Nathoo will also be joining HCC with his signature cooking style; full of spice, flavour and global inspiration.

Though his style is more refined than Chris,’ it is no less innovative. Previously, Imran has whipped up Welsh Lamb kebabs with home made sauces. However, this year Imran will be calling on Royal Welsh Show visitors for their valued opinions as he seeks feedback on his latest creations using PGI Welsh Lamb.

If fire and spice inspiration isn’t tempting enough, HCC will be cooking up classic family favourite dishes using delicious Welsh Lamb, Beef and pork from Wales as well as launching and giving out their new children’s farm activity books.

With two books available for different age ranges, the activities aim to give children an idea about what is involved with rearing animals and where food comes from, as well as some tasty recipes to try at home.

Catch all of HCC’s action at stand M651 at the Royal Welsh Show where there will be plenty of fun, food and fire and maybe even a few familiar faces too…
