Major names on stage at Neath festival

Neath host Scouting For Girls tonight and East 17 tomorrow. Scouting for Girls will headline the opening night of the Neath Carnival and Music Festival, supported by The Raspberry Jam.

Scouting for Girls have sold millions of records and just released their latest album ‘Ten Add Ten’.

They are best known for hits such as ‘This Ain’t A Love Song’, ‘Elvis Ain’t Dead’ and the smash hit ‘She’s So Lovely’, and have been nominated for four Brit Awards and an Ivor Novello award.

The band have just finished a sell-out tour which saw them play the London Palladium, O2 Academy venues across the country and a number of other venues.

East 17 were one of the biggest pop bands of the 1990s, selling over 20 million records worldwide, achieving 18 Top 20 singles and four Top 20 albums. They will headline the second night of the Neath Carnival and Music Festival.

The band are famous for hits such as ‘House of Love’, ‘Stay Another Day’ and ‘It’s Alright’.

Neath Round Table are delighted to welcome both Scouting For Girls and East 17 to the Neath Carnival and Music Festival which is a charity event, where all profits made go to local good causes and organisati­ons.
