ROC ON IN MIAMI
THE epitome of cool, the Eden Roc Miami Beach, is rocking a $250 million makeover in South Florida’s city by the sea.
The retro glamour of the famous Morris Lapidus-designed lobby bar has been given a modern update by renowned designer David Rockwell.
Room refurbishments include works from Saatchi Art referencing Miami’s art deco history, while trendy hooded jersey robes with beach flip-flops replace traditional bathrobes and slippers.
Poolside activities include dancing to the latest tracks with DJs, or unwinding with a cocktail at new beach bar Gitano.
And celeb haunt Nobu Miami has now been joined by new eatery Malibu Farm Restaurant, serving a farm-to-table menu.
Three nights in a double room costs from £742pp including London BA flights for selected September departures.

DIVE INTO ADVENTURE WITH BEAR
DIVE into a world of sharks and more when the Bear Grylls Adventure park opens in Birmingham later this year.
Visitors will be able to swim through a giant megalodon jaw and into a maze of flooded compartments in a simulated shipwreck as they see aquatic crea- tures, including blacktip reef sharks, starry puffers and cownose rays.
Adventurers will not need any previous experience and can choose between snorkelling or scuba diving. They will be accompanied by a pro diving team after a training session.
The attraction opens at the NEC in the autumn and tickets are now on sale with entry to the Basecamp at £20 per person, with combined Basecamp and headline adventure packages starting at £35 per person.
