Politicians must come clean on spending

-

THE Vale of Glamorgan Council recently came out and stated that it does not agree with the Welsh Government’s proposal that council taxpayers should not be jailed for unpaid council tax.

To a degree you would probably agree, so where does this all stop? How about jailing politicians for misappropriate spending of

HE is a big lump and every team needs that one big bruiser. Wales has missed a physical edge and he definitely brings that.

JUST shows how physical the game is today. These players’ bodies must be in pieces when they finally retire. Just ask Sam Warburton!

WelshySteve taxpayers’ money?

How many times have dishonourable Members of Parliament got away scot-free with illegal claims on expenses?

The Welsh Government is a prime example: look at the millions of pounds of our money they lost on land deals, and nothing is said. Carwyn Jones hires his own plane to fly to France to watch a football match, nothing is said. Local councillors spend our money like it is their own. Last Christmas the Vale council withdrew funding for the pensioners’ Christmas dinner due to the fact they had to save money, yet a few days later, lo and behold, over £4,000 was spent on the mayor’s bash, and most recently the council spent more than £10,000 of our money on tea, coffee and cakes.

Cardiff council is another prime example when it wrote off £4m of taxpayers’ money on a loan owed to the people by Glamorgan Cricket Club – nothing said, but you owe £100 to the council and you get bailiffs knocking your door, or jail.
