ALL will be revealed as The Full Monty hits the stage in Neath! One of the boldest and most thrilling musicals to date is at the Gwyn Hall – with the cast set to bare all while raising awareness of testicular cancer and supporting The OddBalls Foundation.

The men of Melyncryddan Amateur Operatic Society certainly won’t be leaving their hats on for this big production of The Full Monty. Originally made famous by the 1997 Bafta awardwinning movie of the same name, the lads of Neath are bringing the Americanised musical stage version to life this week.

The story follows six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers who come up with a plan to make a buck or two after seeing how excited their wives become over a touring Chippendales company. But, in order to get maximum thrills for maximum dollar, the men decide their show will involve them stripping all the way.

The show, which debuted on Broadway in 2000, is an emotional rollercoaster ride for any audience – male or female – filled with singing, dancing, comedy and a brilliant musical score to go with it.

With direction and choreography by Anthony Argyle and musical direction by Matt Hampson, this Broadway hit takes you on an emotional journey with the six men as they face their own demons and it leaves you wondering – will they actually go all the way?

Director Anthony said: “Directing this show has been an absolute dream, working with a highly professional group of performers who are always willing to bare all”.

The cast includes Dave Bryan as Jerry, Ben Bateman as Dave, Daniel Moses as Malcolm, Michael Aubin as Harold, Joseph Robinson as Ethan, Declan Stuart as Horse and a full supporting company.
