Couple caught having sex in shopping arcade

A COUPLE were caught having sex in a shopping arcade after a woman spotted them on CCTV.

The woman said she was “shocked and horrified” when she viewed the CCTV and saw the couple having sex near a road and passers-by.

David Danny Nash, 23, was arrested after having sex in Central Arcade in Wrexham on August 28.

North East Wales Magistrates’ Court in Mold heard that the CCTV footage was handed to police and Nash was arrested.

The court heard the CCTV showed Nash having intercourse and indulging in other sex acts with a woman.

When arrested Nash admitted his behaviour and was found with heroin hidden in his body, the Daily Post reports.

The court was told he was a convicted sex offender and should have reported weekly to the police station but had failed to do so.

The court heard Nash’s life was “spiralling out of control” and he was spending £10 a day on heroin and had nowhere to live.

Defending solicitor Christie AnkersPhillips said Nash was “an extremely vulnerable individual”.

District Judge Gwyn Jones said outraging public decency was “unpleasant and offensive to members of the public”.

“I understand that you have issues in your life which add to your vulnerability,” he said.

The judge warned Nash he was being given an opportunity and if he breached it he would end up in prison.

Nash, of no fixed address but who is from Wrexham, admitted outraging public decency and other offences and received a 26-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and was sent on a probation service programme.

Co-defendant Tracy Ann Myers, 34, of Lilac Way in Wrexham, has been charged with outraging public decency and other offences but failed to attend court to enter a plea.

A warrant was issued for her arrest.
