KRISTOFFER NORDFELDT

Is growing in confidence with the ball at his feet and made important saves both before and after the opener. A clean sheet will do his confidence no harm at all either.

KYLE NAUGHTON

Had been poor in midweek but was better here, particularly during the first half where his movement infield created mismatches. Quieter after the break but did his job.

MIKE VAN DER HOORN (CAPT)

An outstanding defensive display. Made a crucial tackle to deny Baldock when the forward seemed certain to go in on goal, and several more followed as Reading pressed after the break.

JOE RODON

Like van der Hoorn, he made a brilliant challenge after Bodvarsson had been slipped in on goal. Growing in authority with every passing week.

MARTIN OLSSON

Has performed strongly since returning from injury and that continued here. Mixed up his link with James nicely and so nearly teed up a second for McBurnie before being forced off by injury.

JAY FULTON

Not as influential as in midweek but another very solid display from the Scot. It was noticeable that Swansea lost a grip on proceedings in the middle of the park once he was removed.

MATT GRIMES

Bright and busy with the ball, and his range of passing mixes play up nicely. A little overrun after the break but he really complements what Swansea are trying to do.

CONNOR ROBERTS

A little quiet in the first half aside from a few decent deliveries, but more lively in the second half and his ceaseless movement was a nuisance.

BERSANT CELINA

Again, glimpses of his talent and ability to open things up and he was far more accurate with the ball than he sometimes can be. An awful lot of Swansea’s attacking play came through him.

OLI MCBURNIE

Will be relieved to be back on the scoresheet and was his typical bustling self and linked well with others. Could maybe do with a little more support up there.
