How much will trip to Winter Wonderland cost?

WILL a visit to Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland break the bank? We take a look at how much each ride will cost, as well as some of the food and drink available...

The rides

Tokens are needed per person for each ride. The tokens are £1 each.

■Children’s rides (including balloon ride, reindeer and ski lift ride) – two tokens

■Funhouse – two tokens

■Penguin Party Dodgems – three tokens per car

■90m Drop Tower – six tokens

■Game stalls – from one token upwards

Ice-skating

Regular skating sessions during peak hours are £11 for adults, £9 for children and £35 for a family of four (walk up).

If you book online it’s £10 for adults, £8 for children and £30 for a family of four.

Off-peak it’s £9.50 for adults, £8 for children and £30 for a family of four (walk up).

If you book online it’s £8.50 for adults, £7 for children and £27 for a family of four.

The drinks

■Coors Light – £3 (half pint), £4.50 (pint), £9 (two-pint stein)

■Wine (red, white and rose) – £4 (125ml), £5 (175ml) £18 (bottle)

■Prosecco – £6 (20cl), £25 (bottle)

■Champagne – £50 (bottle)

■Mulled wine – £4 (glass)

■Spirits – £3.50 (25ml)

■Soft drinks – £1.50 (glass) Refundable deposits of £5 are required on all steins and refundable deposits of £2 are required for all reusable glassware.

The food

■Sweet and savoury crepes – from £3.

■A 4oz gourmet burger, bratwurst and krakauer sausages – from £4.50

■Falafel burger – from £4.50.

■Dirty fries – The “Porky Pig” seasoned skin-on fries with a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese topped with smoky BBQ pulled pork and some jalapenos – from £4

■Churros – plain with cinnamon sugar or a rich Spanish chocolate sauce – from £4.50.

■Belgian milk chocolate fountain – with a choice of skewers to be dunked – starting at £3
