CARDIFF-BASED Yolk Recruitment has been named as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) permanent recruitment framework.

The CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

The framework agreement between CCS and Yolk Recruitment covers the UK-wide supply of permanent recruitment services to UK public sector bodies including central government departments and their arm’s-length bodies and agencies, non-departmental public bodies and wider public sector organisations.

The agreement will involve recruitment for permanent appointments, fixed-term appointments and inward secondments, both for individual candidates and at volume.

Yolk Recruitment, which was founded in 2009 by Dale Williams and Duncan Powell, employs a team of 50 people across a wide range of sectors including legal, clerical, marketing and technology. The firm’s head office is located at Anchor Court, Cardiff.

CCS brings policy, advice and direct buying together in a single organisation to make savings for customers in both central government and the wider public sector. It also aims to improve the quality of service delivery for common goods and services across government. It works with over 17,000 customer organisations in the public sector.

The framework agreement is for two years, with the option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months.

Dale Williams, co-founder of Yolk Recruitment, said: “We are delighted to be named as a supplier on this prestigious framework, which exists to help public sector organisations with similar needs achieve value by buying as a single customer.

“Our track record in identifying and placing the best-quality candidates across a multitude of sectors, along with our commitment to customer service, means we are ideally placed to support the public sector as it streamlines the way it approaches recruitment.

“Our agreement will offer a robust performance management approach, including collection and analysis of KPI metrics and regular reviews to support continuous improvement of performance levels throughout the framework lifetime.

“We look forward to working with CCS and its contracting authorities across the UK to achieve savings for the taxpayer by centralising common recruitment requirements.”
