Insole Court charitable trust appoints new director
INSOLE Court Trust, the charity that operates Insole Court mansion and gardens in Llandaff, Cardiff, has appointed a new permanent director.
Graham Hill was appointed after the charity board of trustees carried out an external recruitment process.
Earlier this year, the previous director, Meg Anthony, resigned to pursue a new role at the National Trust, and Mr Hill was the acting business manager during the interim period.
He first joined Insole Court as marketing and business development manager in 2016.
He has previously worked at the Chapter Arts Centre.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Hill said: “I’m delighted and honoured to be appointed as director.
“Our dedicated staff, trustees and volunteers have helped to establish Insole Court as an exciting new destination for visitors and a valuable community asset.
“It is a privilege to represent them and I look forward to helping the charity reach its full potential.
“I’d like to thank our trustees for their faith and support, and I’d also like to thank our previous director, Meg Anthony, for the tremendous foundation she built in our first two years.”
On Mr Hill’s appointment, Insole Court chairman Sir Norman Lloyd-Edwards said: “I am delighted to announce that the board has unanimously appointed Graham Hill to be our new director, following an external advertisement and widespread recruitment process.
“We are confident that he will continue our progress in making Insole Court one of the best attractions for our local community and south Wales.”
