ANT-MAN AND THE WASP (12)
CROWD-PLEASING superhero sequel. Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is sentenced to two years under house arrest followed by three years of probation. Any violation means 20 years in prison. Meanwhile, Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) – inventor of the Ant-Man technology – and his daughter Hope (Evangeline Lilly) are in hiding, conducting experiments that will allow them to rescue Hope’s mother (Michelle Pfeiffer) from the quantum realm. When disaster strikes, Scott defies the terms of his house arrest to don the Ant-Man suit and retrieve a stolen power source.

TEEN TITANS! GO TO THE MOVIES (PG)
TONGUE-IN-CHEEK spin-off from the DC Comics universe. The Teen Titans – Robin (voiced by Scott Menville), Starfire (Hynden Walch), Cyborg (Khary Payton), Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) and Raven (Tara Strong) – patrol Jump City. When the wannabes fail to vanquish Balloon Man (Greg Davies), Superman (Nicolas Cage), Wonder Woman (Halsey) and The Green Lantern (Lil’ Yachty) intervene. When Robin learns that Alfred the butler, the Batmobile and even Batman’s utility belt will be central characters in Hollywood films, the Teen Titans decide they need a nemesis. Masked thief Slade (Will Arnett) fits the bill.

UNFRIENDED: DARK WEB (15)
BELATED horror sequel. Matias O’Brien (Colin Woodell) acquires a laptop to develop a sign language app to better communicate with his deaf girlfriend, Amaya (Stephanie Nogueras). The machine crashes and Matias seeks help online from tech wizard Damon (Andrew Leeds), and pals AJ (Connor Del Rio), Lexx (Savira Windyani), Nari (Betty Gabriel) and Serena (Rebecca Rittenhouse). Matias uncovers hidden files and accesses a chatroom. AJ, Damon and co watch Matias’s progress and witness his journey into the dark web. The owner of the laptop makes contact and threatens to kill Amaya unless it is returned.
