THE Welsh Vegan WinterFest – Gŵyl Aeaf Feganaidd Cymru – is set to bring cruelty-free Christmas gifts and plant-based street food to Cardiff this Christmas.

The event is set to provide the very best in ethical Christmas shopping, vegan street food, festive drinks and informatio­n to help people go vegan.

As well as a festive themed line up of workshops there will be a children’s craft corner and free face painting, making this a fantastic day out for the whole family.

The Welsh Vegan WinterFest will be the first of its kind and is expected to attract more 2,000 vegan and vegan curious attendees. You’ll be able to browse through more than 60 stallholde­rs, selling everything from vegan doughnuts, cakes and savouries, gluten free delights, famous vegan street food from Seitan’s Grill, The Vintage Vegan Catering Company as well as others including vegan pizza and Caribbean food.

There will be fair trade jewellery, organic clothing, cruelty-free cosmetics, local campaigns and so much more!

Welsh Vegan WinterFest founder and organiser Claire Morley said: “I absolutely love the festive period and as a passionate vegan I’m more than excited for the first of many Welsh Vegan WinterFest­s to come.

“The event is jam packed full of everything you need for an ethical Christmas and beyond. Everyone is welcome, come and explore the fantastic variety the vegan lifestyle has to offer and have a great festive day out!”

The Welsh Vegan WinterFest is organised by Protect a Pup to raise funds for their vital animal spay and neuter work.

There will also be a fundraisin­g raffle at the event, where attendees will be able to win fantastic vegan prizes!
