STABBING AT TAKEAWAY
POLICE are hunting a teenager after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed near a Cardiff chicken shop.
South Wales Police is investigating the serious assault that happened on City Road on Thursday evening.
Officers were called to an “altercation” involving several people near the Chicken.Com shop at around 11.45pm.
Armed officers and uniformed officers attended the scene, but a spokeswoman said those involved left before police arrived.
A 17-year-old boy was treated at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, with stab wounds. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police have so far arrested four people, including a 13-year-old boy.
An 18-year-old and 19-year-old have since been released on bail, while the 13-year-old boy arrested yesterday remains in custody in Cardiff Bay.
The fourth person arrested, a 17-year-old boy, has since been charged with GBH, violent disorder and possession of a bladed article. He will appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today.
Police are now looking for an 18-year-old man.
A spokeswoman said: “Inquiries remain ongoing, and officers are particularly appealing for information on the whereabouts of Lamahr Bourne.
“The 18-year-old has links with the Butetown and Ely areas of Cardiff.
“Members of the public are advised not to approach the suspect, but to contact police immediately with any information or sightings which could assist the investigation.”
