Man injured in morning crash

A MAN was taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and bus on a busy Cardiff road.

Emergency services were called to Ely Bridge on Cowbridge Road East just after 7am yesterday.

A white car was involved in a crash with a Cardiff Bus.

The driver of the car was released by fire crews who used specialised cutting equipment.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said the driver’s condition was not thought to be serious.
