It’s a hard Knox wife: Amanda denies ‘begging’ for her wedding

-

AMANDA KNOX has been forced to shoot down claims she is crowdfunding her intergalactic-themed wedding.

The American, who was convicted then cleared of killing British student Meredith Kercher, sparked anger after asking for donations of up to £8,000 from strangers.

She discussed her upcoming nuptials on social media and included a link to her elaborate “wedding story” site, which featured a link connecting viewers to the registry.

She and her fiancé Christopher Robinson said they had “scant time to plan” for the wedding next year.

Her begging bowl came out despite Knox earning a reported £2.6 million from her book Waiting To Be Heard.

Defending the move, she said: “Our wedding registry was never meant to be a crowdfunding source. It was meant for our family and friends and any well-wishers that I have.”

Supporters of the couple are asked to choose where their donation will go.

Those who want to give as little as £20 can earmark it for decorations, £60 will help pay for a photographer, or a gift of £80 could go to a ‘time-travel machine’ that will be available for guests.

There are options for £1,600, £4,000, or a whopping £8,000 for which they “will receive a signed, limited edition copy of The Cardio Tesseract, our joint book of love poems.”

Knox’s denial she is crowdfunding is laughable, given it is precisely what asking ‘well-wishers” to donate is.

Why do people these days think others should fund their lifestyle?

Then again when an opportunity Knox, there is no way publicity-hungry Amanda would let it pass her by..
