THE next antiques and vintage fair at the Civic Hall, Llandeilo, is on Saturday, August 31. Located at the heart of the busy town and close to the main car park, the fair provides visitors with a wide choice of antiques at affordable prices, including a vintage element with a touch of retro.

Whether hunting for enjoyment, surfing for the right item for a loved one or finding that one thing you have searched for, the Llandeilo fair provides an ideal shopping experience with plenty of inspiration.

Being a Welsh fair, it is understandable that there will be a good selection of Welsh items on offer, including original watercolours, oil paintings, Gwili and Ewenny pottery and much-soughtafter Welsh blankets. Visitors are sure to be amazed at the variety of antiques and vintage items on offer.

There will be be attractive displays of gardenalia, which have proved extremely popular in previous fairs, from galvanised watering cans and butter churns to vintage wheelbarrows and garden tools.

The theme of the vintage section of the fair generally harps back to the 1930s, ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s, with stands showcasing affordable, stylish ladies’ and men’s fashions with accessories, jewellery and home furnishings mixed in.

The fair also boasts a good range of silver and gold watches, toys, kitchenalia, upcycled and preloved furniture, militaria and a display of books and curios.

Homemade snacks and refreshments will also be available. Doors open at 10am and close at 4pm. Admission is just £1.
