Cardiff Devils strike new deal for sponsorship
ICE hockey team the Cardiff Devils has struck a new sponsorship deal with Towergate Insurance Brokers.
The long-term agreement, the value of which hasn’t been disclosed, coincides with the new season and sees Towergate branding featured across the Devils’ hockey kit, as well as across the team’s website, programmes and rink-side at the Ice Arena in Cardiff Bay.
Towergate Insurance Brokers, which has more than 60 offices, has a strong Welsh presence and a long-standing relationship with ice hockey and many other sporting risks across the UK.
Gary Stevens, area managing director for Towergate Insurance Brokers in Wales, said: “Following our success of working with other sporting clubs and associations, we are delighted to be working with and sponsoring the Cardiff Devils, in a sector that we know very well.
“We were extremely impressed with the teamwork shown at the Devils, both on and off the ice, the effort they make to give the fans a great experience and their results over the last few seasons.
“The Devils have some of the most loyal fans we’ve encountered, and we hope that this will be a very mutually beneficial relationship.”
