Two factions work to stop socialist agenda

-

MUCH has been made of late as to how Boris Johnson has somehow misled the Queen as to his intentions for the calling of prorogation of Parliament for an almost unprecedented five-week period.

My contention is that to rule this country as a monarch from 1952 until the present date would imply that she has a coterie of advisers who are all very well able to explain any alleged shenanigans that an unelected Prime Minister might proffer as to his reason for any such actions. That she chose to comply with such action would, to my mind at least, mean that she is wholeheartedly in favour of the act of reducing the will of Parliament.

I would also contend that by her act of appointing Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, knowing full well that he could not command a majority within the House of Parliament, she committed an act of wilful betrayal to the people of Britain.

The fact that it has taken us three years and counting, a General Election which saw the Tory majority descend to such an abyss whereby the person who called the election had to grovel to a hardline minority extremist party to uphold their majority, to then come to prorogation is an absurdity.

The people of this country voted, rightly or wrongly, to leave Europe. However misguided the populace were in making that decision, it was taken in 2016. One can argue that the full facts were not known at the time of the referendum; it can equally be argued that the influence of the unelected officials within the EU has never been properly brought to the attention of the people of Great Britain.

Had these been made clear, at that time I contend that a more decisive verdict might well have emanated, but that is, of course, mere conjecture.

That Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson chose to expel 21 dissident members of his own party in order to enforce an act of prorogation is, of itself, an admission that his actions are deeply flawed and ill-thoughtthough.

Jeremy Corbyn, meanwhile, has been quietly acting to ensure that all opposition parties work cohesively to ensure that a unified stance is presented to the people of Britain. Comes the “snake in the grass”, the Blairite faction of the Labour party – remember “ABC: Anyone But Corbyn” Tom Watson acting as a Blair mouthpiece who would have anyone in No 10 as long as it was not Jeremy Corbyn enacting some form of a proper socialist agenda.

So there are two factions, I would contend, acting simultaneously – one that to my mind contends that the

monarch who at the age of 93 has been on the throne for 67 years was somehow “misled” or, even more grieviously, “lied to” by the Prime Minister; whilst at the same time, a faction within the Labour Party still clinging to the discredited views of a former Prime Minister, seeks to undermine the actions of a man who has overwhelmingly been supported by the membership of his party, but sadly not by the PLP.
