CONNOR ROBERTS

Had a tough battle on his hands with the likes of Yuri Ribeiro and Samba Sow causing problems on his flank.

MIKE VAN DER HOORN

Aside from being dispossessed in the first half, an opening that almost gifted Forest a goal, the Dutchman was largely impressive. Gave Swansea some forward momentum from the back and threw his body on the line in his own box too.

JOE RODON

Another classy display from the centre-back who shook off the knock he collected while on international duty with Wales.

JAKE BIDWELL

Another solid shift from the left-back. Couldn’t always get forward in the first half as Forest were a threat on the counter attack. Got forward more in the second half but to little avail.

JAY FULTON

Forest’s midfield impressed, and the Scot had a really tough job on his hands. Had a shot blocked just after the break but was solid enough.

MATT GRIMES

A difficult afternoon in the centre of the park for the captain, whose passing was a little off at times and was shrugged off by Lewis Grabban in the build-up to Nottingham Forest’s winner.

ANDRE AYEW

Missed a golden chance to put Swansea ahead on the hour mark. A battling performance from the Ghanaian, although his efforts didn’t reap any rewards.

BERSANT CELINA

Back in the No.10 slot, Celina looked the most likely to create anything in the first half. But his final ball never really came off, aside from a slick cross to Borja Baston at the end of the first period. Lucky not to be punished after giving away possession in the second half and was withdrawn soon after. A tough day.

WAYNE ROUTLEDGE

Making his first league start of the campaign, Routledge showed a few neat touches, but couldn’t quite get that killer ball to come off. Ran himself ragged in the second half before being substituted.

BORJA BASTON

Was given precious little service, but actually linked up play nicely when given the opportunity. Had a shot blocked just before the break abut couldn’t get much change from the Forest defence.
