so hard to bring Wales’ first win over England at U20s level in England for four years.

Costelow began his masterclass by scoring a scintillating try on 13 minutes.

Receiving a pass from Jac Morgan off a midfield ruck, he checked and went on an arcing run to his right, before cutting back with devastating effect.

He broke the tackle of prop Cal Ford and then put the pedal down to deliver a sparkling finish, throwing a dummy and swerving outside scrum-half Sam Maunder to reach the line.

England hit back when loosehead prop Emmanuel Iyogun powered over after the hosts had opted to kick a penalty to the corner.

But then, five minutes before the break, Costelow produced another moment of magic.

This time he broke from his own half, once again cutting back against the grain to breach the English defence. He first broke the tackle of hooker Theo Dan and then evaded the diving clutches of another white-shirted player as he burst upfield.

Looking for support as cover closed in, he found it from second row Ben Carter who acted as the link to send centre Roderick over.

Costelow added his second conversion to make it 14-5 to Wales at halftime.

England came out firing on the restart, with fly-half George Barton going over out on the right after sustained pressure.

Costelow swiftly responded with a penalty ahead of the hosts having fullback Freddie Steward yellow carded for taking his opposite number Jacob Beetham out in the air.

Despite being down to 14 men, England made light of their numerical disadvantage as replacement prop Sam Crean showed real presence of mind, spotting the ball was over the Welsh line at a ruck and diving in to touch down.

Once again though, Costelow immediately added to his account with a further penalty ahead of pulling off a try saving tackle on wing Tom Roebuck.

England looked to have sealed the spoils with a converted try from replacement Jack Van Poortvliet, only for Costelow to win the game with a drop goal five minutes from time.
