LIVERPOOL returned to winning ways after coming from behind to beat struggling Bournemouth 2-1.

The Reds moved to within two wins of claiming a first league title in 30 years after passing another test of character.

Callum Wilson had fired Bournemouth in to a ninth-minute lead at Anfield before Mo Salah became the first Liverpool player since Michael Owen to score 20-plus goals in three successive seasons.

Sadio Mane’s coolly-taken effort condemned Bournemouth to a fourth league game without a win.

Manchester United completed the league double over derby rivals Manchester City for the first time in a decade as Anthony Martial’s firsthalf goal and an injury-time strike from Scott McTominay gave them victory at Old Trafford.

City goalkeeper Ederson gifted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side both goals.

He allowed Martial’s shot to squirm under his body on the halfhour, then with seconds left threw a clearance straight to McTominay.

Billy Gilmour sparked injury-hit Chelsea’s 4-0 romp past Everton in the Blues’ biggest Premier League winning margin under Frank Lampard.

Mason Mount, Pedro, Willian and Olivier Giroud all found the net as Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti endured a wretched first return to Stamford Bridge since his two-year tenure as Chelsea boss.

Allan Saint-Maximin scored Newcastle’s first goal in five league games to ease their relegation worries with a 1-0 win at Southampton.

Saints had Moussa Djenepo sent off after referee Grahamn Scott used VAR to check the pitchside monitor.

Matt Ritchie had a first-half penalty for Newcastle saved by Alex McCarthy after Sofiane Boufal handled in the box.

The visitors made the breakthrough 11 minutes from time when Saint-Maximin slotted past McCarthy.

Alexandre Lacazette came off the bench to earn Arsenal a win over a West Ham side who spurned several chances to leave the Emirates Stadium with a muchneeded three points.

The Hammers created the better opportunities of a game settled by Lacazette, who hit the only goal of the 1-0 win as VAR intervened after the effort had originally been ruled out for offside.

Billy Sharp scored the only goal of the game as Sheffield United pushed Norwich closer to an immediate return to the Championship, with the Blades’ 1-0 win at Bramall Lane leaving them two points off fourth place.

Jordan Ayew scored the winner for the second week running to give Crystal Palace a 1-0 win over Watford.

Dele Alli’s penalty earned Tottenham a 1-1 draw at Burnley, who had opened the scoring through Chris Wood.

Wolves and Brighton drew 0-0 at Molineux.
