Prices revealed for Mazda’s first EV
THE first all-electric car to come from Mazda – the MX-30 – will be priced from £30,495 when it arrives in the UK early next year.
With the current Government subsidy for low emission vehicles that takes the cost down to £26,995 for the limited run of First Edition models.
Prices for the rest of the range are still to be announced and the run of First Edition versions of the MX-30 will be restricted to 500.
The car is Mazda’s first pure EV and according to the Japanese company it has a range of 124 miles on a full charge.
Performance details are yet to be wall box home charger, while the car is equipped with both a Type 2 mode two charge cable for three-pin plug charging and a Type 2 mode three charge cable for AC charging via home or public charge points.
Additionally, the DC socket allows for rapid charging up to 50Kw. In this charge mode a charging time of 30 to 40 minutes can deliver up to 80 per cent battery charge.
