Superfast Business Wales and FSB join forces to help businesses upskill

-

Digital Champion Superfast Business Wales (SFBW) has teamed up with FSB Wales for a free double webinar series exploring two areas particularly relevant to businesses during the pandemic – selling online and working remotely stress-free.

Experts in both topics will share their advice and top tips, before follow up sessions show how digital can lend a hand.

Kicking off the joint event series on 18 June is Selling Online in the UK and Overseas. It will focus on helping businesses get ready to sell beyond the UK post-Brexit, before explaining how e-commerce platforms and online tools play an essential part.

Work Smarter, Work Safer - Stress-free

will show businesses how they can get the most out of flexible working, and maintain a healthy work-life balance using digital tools to reduce pressure.

Rob Basini, FSB Development Manager said: “We are delighted to once again partner with Superfast Business Wales to help deliver these quality events, which will be really useful to businesses.

“The pandemic has moved a lot of activity online, at a pace we have not seen before, and it is vital that businesses have the knowledge and skills to maximise the opportunities that trading in a global marketplace can bring.

“At the same time, business owners need to be mindful of their own wellbeing when operating in the virtual world and these two events are designed to assist businesses to navigate these new ways of working.”

Howard Thompson, SFBW Programme Manager, added: “Eligible businesses that attend can also benefit from free one-to-one support and a comprehensive web review from a business adviser who will provide a tailored digital roadmap for the future.”
