DILLON PHILLIPS

Somehow let the ball squeeze under him for the third goal. Kicking off, too, hitting a goal kick straight out become too regular a theme. Brought down Khadra for the late penalty, too.

SEAN MORRISON (CAPT)

Ball for the second goal just floated over his head and another who was to blame for the third goal. That mix-up with Vaulks and allowing Brereton Diaz in was just unforgivable. Got a goal himself but damage was done.

ADEN FLINT

Probably the least culpable for the goals, but could have tracked Dolan better for the fourth. Not his finest game but not the worst of the lot.

CURTIS NELSON

Far too easy in allowing Gallagher in for the first goal. Ball sailed over him and he was left screaming for offside. A difficult afternoon for the defender.

PERRY NG

Actually looked OK going forward before the goals started flying in. Hooked at half-time.

WILL VAULKS

Don’t remember him being in the game at all, apart from the mix-up with Morrison for the goal. Another who was taken off at the break.

MARLON PACK

Not as composed as he usually is and his passing was off, which we’ve not become accustomed to this season.

JOEL BAGAN

A really disappointing outing for the left-back. Looked really nervous with the ball at his feet. Mis-hit a number of crosses and passes and was caught out a few times defensively, too, especially for the fourth goal. Missed two glaring late chances as well.

RUBIN COLWILL

Showed willing early on and actually looked to take on defenders and excite, but the execution just wasn’t there.

KIEFFER MOORE

Just couldn’t get into the game. Far too isolated. Chasing after balls aimlessly hoofed at him. Nothing would stick for him.

LEANDRO BACUNA

Barely touched the ball. Couldn’t impact the game at all, but looked better when he was deployed more defensively after the break.

STAR MAN RYAN GILES

(On for Vaulks 45) By far Cardiff’s best player. Only one with any sort of drive and creativity. The only positive is having him back.

SUBSTITUTES
