What’s the latest team news?

Morison remained coy on whether Kieffer Moore is back fit the game.

The striker was rested for the Preston clash last weekend and it was hoped he would be back tonight. While Morison didn’t rule it out entirely, the forward was pictured in the club’s training pictures on Tuesday, he did little to instil confidence.

Joe Ralls is also touch and go after his illness at the weekend. Tom Sang played for the under-23s against QPR yesterday and Morison ruled out his involvement.

Isaac Vassell and Sam Bowen remain absent.

For the visitors, Di’Shon Bernard will miss the game leaving Sean McLoughlin and Jacob Greaves as the only first-team defenders available. Grant McCann said it could present an opportunity to Jevon Mills, Jake Leake or Tom Nixon to feature against the Bluebirds.

What have the managers said? Cardiff City boss Steve Morison:

“The big thing is giving the fans three points at home again.

“The season is not going to be defined now. It’ll be defined over the longer period. Whether this was Hull or anyone, it’s a case of getting three points.

“We need to make Cardiff City Stadium a fortress, people shouldn’t enjoy coming to play there and we enjoy playing there.”

Hull City boss Grant McCann:

“To win back-to-back games for the first time this season is great.

“It gets the monkey off our back a little bit. It means we can focus on the next one now, against a Cardiff team who seem reinvigorated in terms of a new manager coming in.

“It’s always tough, Cardiff away is always a tough game, but we will look forward to it.”
