WRU set to charge up to £130 for top seats against England next season

-

£83.33 I’ve just paid for three Wales football tickets against three of the best sides in Europe. That’s £27.78 a ticket with booking fees. Kids’ tickets were £14 for three games, that’s £4.67 a game. Better atmosphere at the CCS as well – don’t see why people bother being ripped off by the WRU when the FAW offering is such good value for money.

THERE will always be people who will go but it is getting to a point where there might be less than capacity crowds. It has become more a social occasion than a sport, with normal fans being priced out. This summer could see Welsh football surpass the Welsh rugby as the number one sport in Wales if they aren’t careful with their greed.

Dyfed Jones

ABSOLUTELY ludicrous, pricing themselves out and people will vote with their feet this time, especially with such a poor Six Nations behind us.

Nigel Williams

AND the grossly inflated hotel prices to stay overnight, pricing yourselves out of reach of ordinary people. Sold out the TV rights too? Nah… football for me.

Andrea Harries

SO between the tickets, train, beer and food for two people about the £350 mark, for a few hours’ entertainment. What with the cost of living rocketing and low wages in Wales it’s getting out of the reach of the Welsh fans.

Michael Jenkins

GOOD to see the WRU learning lessons from the last Six Nations... oh, never mind. Seriously, no wonder Welsh rugby is in decline with the mismanagement of the WRU.

Geraint Rennie

TV down the pub is free and a great atmosphere.
