When we leave the EU standards will rise

CAN someone please explain to me why this country voted to leave the EU because of its unfair bureaucracy and trading rights, and yet the EU is still dictating to us what we can and cannot do and on what terms we have to leave by?

Surely, we should be telling them what the trading terms will be when we leave the EU in January?

For instance, we will be bringing in strict rules on animal transport welfare, regain our fishing rights and close our boarders to illegal immigrants.

With our own stricter methods of searching lorries they will not be able to hide in lorries and other vehicles in order to get into this country illegally.

Once this happens, we will be able to trade with the Commonwealth and countries outside of the EU again. Without the EU VAT tariff our goods will automatically become cheaper and more competitive so our factories will once again be providing employment.

Our standard of living will be improved and we should then be able to live at the standards we had in the 1960s before we joined the then so-called ‘Common Market’. Good riddance to the EU, I say!! Mrs A Earl
