Educate and inspire to deal with virus

-

WE have not been told of any scientific research on the subject of killing corona viruses as close to source as possible.

The UK Government has opposed the rather primitive method of all people wearing a cloth face mask to catch a proportion of globules which they exhale, just in case they are infected, but, since that is the best we have so far, that is what we should all do, when in contact with others. That is our individual personal contribution towards a shared national policy.

We also require collective national and international action. The cardinal, essential, national strategy should always be, the exponential R factor, to reduce the trajectory of increased virus infection, by killing viruses long before they can cause that further infection into new bodies. Why not use every weapon?

Science tells us of methods, such as ultra violet light, which can kill all viruses. UVL is too dangerous to apply at the personal level, like a mask, but it could serve our purpose at the next higher level, by introducing UVL into ventilation systems, which presently circulate viruses among people.

This is the perfect opportunity to employ people now, to incorporate UVL units into the ventilation systems of cruise ships and aeroplanes, which are presently laid up. The need for research is vital, but the need to educate and inspire

UK adults, both to think more deeply and then to act, is even more important.
