Discover this unusual vase by Moorcroft

ASTYLISH slender vase of unusual shape by Moorcroft, from their ‘Tribute to Charles Rennie Mackintosh’ range can be found amongst the ceramics and glass in Eldreds next sale of Antiques & Interiors on Tuesday, September 14 at 10am.

Standing at 31.5cm high and in excellent condition, the artist has captured well the angular lines and softer decorative motifs for which the Scottish architect and designer is well-known and remembered. Estimate £60-80.

With a similar estimate is a fun and sparkly ‘as new’ colour version Swarovski Mickey Mouse, looking very cheerful and cheeky and with all original packaging.

Providing plenty of practical storage space whilst also looking contemporary and stylish is an Ercol ash sideboard from its design classic ‘Windsor’ range. With wooden oval shape handles, exposed dovetail joints and casters, this quality piece of furniture is estimated at £100-150.

Another modern classic is a Ladderax teak modular wall unit comprising five metal ladders, two dropdown door cabinets, a three-door chest, a cabinet fitted with a pair of smoky glass doors, large and small shelves and lighting sections. This flexible furniture can be bought for £300-500.

Sections of silver and jewellery will contain a pretty silver circular ring box with blue enamel hinged lid, an Italian silver photograph frame with engine-turned decoration, a pair of 9ct gold ear studs with clusters of diamond points and a silver anchor brooch set malachite.
