THERE is an eye catching and wide variety of lots on offer in the Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood Antiques and Interiors Sale on Tuesday, September 14.

Among the picture section is a 20th century oil painting of fishing boats at low tide by William Ruscoe who was born in 1904 and the estimate is £80-120*. More contemporary among the pictures is the Andy Warhol influenced Pop Art composition from the studio of Pietro Psaier titled ‘Norma Jean’. This comes from a series of works called ‘Damaged Lives’ and is estimated at £50-80*.

Among the items leaning towards interior decoration is an Oriental carved hardstone bonsai tree-flower arrangement which is estimated at £60-90*. In a more traditional vein are nine copper saucepans of graduating sizes which would grace a cottage kitchen interior, or indeed a modern kitchen interior. These are estimated at £100-150*.

In the silver section are two smart silver photograph frames. One has a military connection to the Royal Artillery and is surmounted by the emblem of the regiment. The two together are estimated at £100-150*.

The rest of the sale covers two floors at the Okehampton Street rooms with a huge range of antiques, works of art, vintage and collectors’ items with estimates ranging from £30* to £1,000*.
