LODGE and Thomas has had an extremely successful start to its 130th anniversary year. The experienced team continue to support business relationships spanning generations and develop fresh partnerships and connections throughout Cornwall and beyond.
Lodge and Thomas, Truro Saleroom is holding a Fine Art Sale on Friday, April 1, commencing at 10am. This sale offers an opportunity to view a wide range of affordable, traditional and contemporary art in one room in central Cornwall. Featuring some distinguished pieces from Cornish and global artists, such as ‘Porthminster Beach, St Ives’ by Rose Hilton, ‘Stormy Weather, Father’s Rainbow, Mother’s Dreams’ in acrylic by Jessica Cooper, and works by Samuel John Lamorna Birch, one of which is a restful watercolour entitled ‘The Bend Of The River’.
It’s delighted to be able to showcase a fine example of work from Breon O’Casey entitled ‘Profile And Plant’, an artist much in demand, whose reputation continues to grow. Also featured is an atmospheric painting in muted tones from Canadian born artist Gyrth Russell, an energetic and vibrant lithograph by Terry Frost entitled ‘Moonship’, a calming watercolour harbour scene by John Gutteridge Sykes and several works by the renowned artist Simeon Stafford.
