LODGE and Thomas has had an extremely successful start to its 130th anniversar­y year. The experience­d team continue to support business relationsh­ips spanning generation­s and develop fresh partnershi­ps and connection­s throughout Cornwall and beyond.

Lodge and Thomas, Truro Saleroom is holding a Fine Art Sale on Friday, April 1, commencing at 10am. This sale offers an opportunit­y to view a wide range of affordable, traditiona­l and contempora­ry art in one room in central Cornwall. Featuring some distinguis­hed pieces from Cornish and global artists, such as ‘Porthminst­er Beach, St Ives’ by Rose Hilton, ‘Stormy Weather, Father’s Rainbow, Mother’s Dreams’ in acrylic by Jessica Cooper, and works by Samuel John Lamorna Birch, one of which is a restful watercolou­r entitled ‘The Bend Of The River’.

It’s delighted to be able to showcase a fine example of work from Breon O’Casey entitled ‘Profile And Plant’, an artist much in demand, whose reputation continues to grow. Also featured is an atmospheri­c painting in muted tones from Canadian born artist Gyrth Russell, an energetic and vibrant lithograph by Terry Frost entitled ‘Moonship’, a calming watercolou­r harbour scene by John Gutteridge Sykes and several works by the renowned artist Simeon Stafford.
