Two-days of delights to enjoy at Easter fair
AFC’S Antique, Salvage and Decorative Fair is a genuine must-see event for all antique and vintage enthusiasts.
One of the best places to shop for antiques in Cornwall is held over Easter weekend on Good Friday, April 15, and Easter Saturday at the Wadebridge Showground, hosted within permanent buildings and several acres of outdoor pitches.
The popular event has something for everyone including, on Karen Dalmeny’s stand, a pair of French 19th century terracotta saints and Sir Amic’s stand specialises in early 17th to 20th century ceramics.
Wadebridge Antique Centre will have a 1956 Ford F100 American pick up grille, also a German 1915 Pickelhaube complete with original lining and a good selection of Georgian and Victorian jewellery.
There will be an excellent range of period furniture, 18th century to mid 20th century, jewellery, military, collectables, antique silver, antique and contemporary art, gardenalia and architectural salvage.
There is also the wonderful Wadebridge Classic and Vintage Vehicle Rally.
Gates open 7am Friday for trade/early bird buyers. £10 admission, 9am to 4pm and admission includes free parking, catering inside and outside with seating.
Outside stalls still only £70 two days prebooked, £40 casual or you can just turn up. Inside from £140 for two days.
It is a dog friendly venue, but on leads please.
There will be an auction for Ukraine on Good Friday at 3pm in the main hall with auctioneer Bob Bosisto.
