Do the protesters actually have jobs?

-

WE keep seeing photos of protest demonstrations in London and elsewhere by Extinction Rebellion and other groups. Are all these people out of work and claiming dole money from the Government, or have they decided they don’t want to work?

There are plenty of jobs going, so we are being told by the press and media, but the ongoing problems for years has been that too many families find it is better off to be on the dole than to get work. So why bother to work?

It is time this Government took a brave stand to make work more profitable. In the long run, it will be a win, win situation for all.

I was disgusted when I read last month that “Anti-vax protest forces jabs clinic to close early.” These demonstrators should be named and shamed for the harm they could do and possibly have done.

Our laws say we have a right to protest, but in this case, and in the way Extinction Rebellion are causing huge disruptions, it has not only got out of hand but potentially dangerous.

The police need to be allowed to use force, if necessary, and these people should be heavily fined and be made to pay for any disruption and for wasted police time, and clean up any rubbish they leave.

When will politicians and the Law Society wake up to the fact which is staring them in their faces, that our laws for criminals are far too lenient and don’t discourage crime?

The public are not told that, in fact, prisoners may only serve half their time for good behaviour, when this should only be allowed in very minor crime cases.

As far as headlines about

“just in time” not working in the supermarkets and food shortages being permanent, all shoppers know it hasn’t worked for years.
