Radiohead’s most famous B-side, Talk Show Host appeared on Street Spirit (Fade Out) – the final single from The Bends – and hinted in January 1996 at some of the experimentation and dark minimalism to be expected from OK Computer and beyond. With sparse and repetitive guitar lines combined with fractured drum beats, it has that eerily subdued yet euphoric atmosphere that became the band’s trademark.
