Connie’s health horror!
Could the senior surgeon soon find herself fighting for her life?
Clinical lead Connie Beauchamp receives life-changing news about her health this week, after she visits a private hospital for tests.
Last week, the surgeon became breathless and suffered chest pains while out running, followed by dizziness and fatigue when treating a patient. The matter-of-fact medic books herself in for tests, but keeps her worries to herself at work!
Later, when her private cardiologist calls and reveals the results are back, Connie races to see him, where he reveals that it’s not good news…
Further tests are set up and, after returning to work, Connie shows Dr Ethan Hardy (George Rainsford) her scan results, claiming they belong to a patient and asks his advice. Ethan’s excited by the cardiac ‘case’, but says if it proves malignant, things don’t look good for the patient…
Will Connie open up to Ethan – after all, she’s keeping his secret that he allowed Scott Ellisson to die? And what will her follow-up tests reveal?
