The National Television Awards is back live on ITV on Tuesday 23 January, with Dermot O’Leary again hosting the glittering night. Look out for a special tribute to the late Sir Bruce Forsyth, with the Entertainment Award named after him this year. The new Crime Drama category consists of a battle between Line of Duty, Broadchurch, Strike and Sherlock. Shane Richie is set to return to ITV’s Benidorm as sleazy entertainer Sammy Valentino. Fans of the show last saw Sammy compèring The Pride of Benidorm Awards at the Solana in 2015 when he got punched by Rob Dawson (Josh Bolt).
