Lachlan dead?

-

When he goes missing, Chrissie fears her troubled son has taken his own life...

It takes a hell of a lot to rattle ruthless Robert Sugden, but a few weeks back, Lachlan succeeded when he took his former stepdad on a terrifying near-fatal car journey before vowing to kill him.

Dark revelations

Lachlan knows Robert has long been duping his family, so he’s furious that Lawrence has given him a stake in the Whites’ business following the birth of baby Seb, Rebecca and Robert’s love child. But Lachlan is blatantly fooling his loved ones, too…

When Aaron hears Lachlan’s raged at baby Seb and almost hurt him, he goes to see Belle to let her know what her boyfriend is capable of, also revealing that he slept with a prostitute on his birthday. Belle’s horrified by Aaron’s revelations, and when Lachlan later fails to deny Aaron’s claims, their relationship appears to be over.

Before long, Lachlan is plunged into a dark place. Sending a text to his mum Chrissie, who’s also heard Aaron’s relevations, he tells her he’s leaving and will never return. He then leaves a ‘goodbye’ voicemail for his beloved Belle before picking up an electric drill, clearly with a plan in mind. What is he intending to do with the power tool?

With Lachlan’s disappearance playing on her mind, Chrissie isn’t interested when a problem arises concerning Robert, unaware that if she paid it an ounce of attention, she might find out he’s been hoodwinking her family…

Thinking the worst

‘Chrissie assumes the worst and thinks Lachlan’s killed himself,’ reveals Louise Marwood, who plays the worried mum. ‘She’s distraught, he’s never done this before. It’s unchartered territory.’
