Having killed his former partner in crime Vinny and taken all his cash – in revenge for being fleeced after their Calcutta Flat scam – Phelan is now sitting on a wodge of money.
Telling his wife Eileen that he’s received the insurance money for his ‘development house’ – which was recently burned down by Phelan’s cronies – the evil builder then plays Mr Nice Guy, donating to the church fund, and dishing out a windfall to those who lost their savings by investing in the phoney flats.
Unaware that it’s not insurance money, Eileen’s not too happy about Phelan’s costly ‘goodwill’ while his biggest enemy, Anna, is deeply suspicious knowing there’s not a decent bone in the man’s body.
Secret recording
Phelan blamed Anna for his daughter Nicola turning her back on him, so he landed her in big trouble with the police, framing her for Seb’s fall. But enough is now enough for Anna.
After luring him to No 13, Anna confronts Phelan about Seb while secretly recording the conversation on her mobile phone…
Will Phelan sense something suspect is going on? Or will Anna get the killer builder to make a confession he will later regret?
