Bistro owner Robert’s in denial about the lump his girlfriend Michelle found on one of his testicles but, this week, a situation forces him to confront the issue…
Michelle’s upset when she learns her boyfriend hasn’t seen a doctor yet, and insists he arranges an appointment.
But before he gets the chance, Robert ends up in hospital getting checked out by a specialist when he’s injured saving Joseph from the path of an oncoming car!
Urgent surgery
‘Michelle uses the time that he’s immobilised to get the urologist in,’ says Tristan Gemmill, who plays Robert. ‘The doctor says there’s definitely something there and that he needs a scan.’
Robert’s soon told, to his horror, that the lump is likely to be malignant and the testicle will need removing. Will he agree to surgery? And will he tell Michelle?
‘Robert’s refusing to face facts, but it’s to do with his fear of hospitals from when his father died of cancer,’ says Tristan.
Later, in a bid to forget his problem, former gambling addict Robert heads to a casino, with Johnny in tow. Will he make money – or lose the lot?
