The crime boss from New York issued a chilling warning in last week’s episode and Tommy now knows his rival will stop at nothing in his bid to kill the entire Shelby family.
‘The battle lines have been drawn,’ says Oscarwinning American star Adrien Brody, who plays Luca Changretta. ‘Tommy and Luca are very similar because they are both ruthless men who are driven by family and power. But there’s a respect as well because they both know how dangerous the other one is!’
With the Peaky Blinders still reeling from the Mafia’s attack on John and Michael at the start of this fourth series, Tommy’s reunited his family and brokered an uneasy truce with Aunt Polly. But this week he wonders if there is a traitor in his organisation…

‘Changretta is the most powerful enemy the Shelbys have ever faced,’ explains Adrien. ‘Tommy created his own empire, but Changretta was born into this life. He has more influence than Tommy ever imagined.’
For Hollywood star Adrien, playing a Peaky Blinders villain is a special thrill.
