Alesha chats to John Bishop about how being in the chart-topping girl band Mis-Teeq was the most magical time of her life and how winning Strictly rebooted her career after the girls were dramatical­ly dropped by their record label. She also opens up about growing up in a dysfunctio­nal family, being the target of racism as a child, and how witnessing her mum suffer domestic abuse at the hands of her partner led to a lifetime of insecuriti­es and crippling fear.
